7IM launches platform reporting upgrade in bid to bring adviser tech up to 'Monzo-era' standards

Exclusive: Redesign will be ‘one source of truth’ for advisers after complaints of ‘clunky’ systems

7IM has launched the first phase of its next-generation reporting suite, designed to give advisers faster and more intuitive access to client data, in what its head of product design and product manager Kieran Cardozo-Smith described as a long overdue shift towards “one source of truth” for advice firms.

7IM has committed to a 12–18-month rollout, during which advisers will trial the new reporting features before they are extended to clients. Key enhancements include: • Family group reporting: aggregating values at a household level • Doc Hub: a new communications and notifications centre • ISA allowance tracking: displayed directly against accounts The firm is also planning to replace its client portal and 7IMagine app with a single experience, eliminating multiple logins.
