Top ten recommended adviser platforms of 2025 revealed

Defaqto identifies gap between top two and rest of market

Aviva was the most recommended adviser platform in 2025, moving up from second place the previous year, Defaqto Engage analysis has found.

Quilter, which topped the table in 2024, slid into second place for 2025. Defaqto Engage's data showed a substantial gap between the two top contenders and the rest of the market (see table below), with Fidelity taking third place followed by Transact. AJ Bell ranked in the top five, while Aberdeen featured twice in the top ten. The findings were based on Defaqto Engage data, which covers more than 18,000 funds and 2,800 discretionary fund manager managed portfolio services, platforms and products.
