Platform businesses are prioritising growth but process efficiency "must come first", The Platform Association has said.

Its Platform Horizons report found that platform businesses are united by a desire to grow, with just more than 50% mentioning growth, scalability and capacity improvements as their primary strategic focus. The Platform Association noted that while growth is the priority, "process efficiency must come first, as growth without operational readiness carries risks". These risks include amplifying inefficiencies, embedding operational drag, and the potential for poor client service as a result, the report highlighted.
