Advised platform AUM grows 9.24% in Q2 despite drop in flows

Highest quarterly growth since Q2 2020 but net sales dip 8.95%

Advised platform assets under management (AUM) grew by 9.24% on the previous quarter – the highest quarterly growth figure since Q2 2020 – despite a modest drop in flows, according to latest data from The Lang Cat.

The Lang Cat claimed the growth reflects positive market movement in the second quarter after the conflict in Iran and the Middle East meant no growth in the first three months of the year.  New business flows were down to £25.88bn on a record-breaking first quarter of 2026, but still represent the second-best quarter for gross sales on record.  This was helped by stronger ISA sales, The Lang Cat said.
