Parents ‘stretching finances’ to finance private education

Advisers are experiencing an increase in the number of clients looking to factor school fees into their financial planning, according to national advice firm Continuum.

The firm said it has seen an increase in clients "stretching the finances" to ensure their child has a private education. "As parents across England find out which schools their new primary school starters have been allocated for September, other parents are looking away from the state school system and ways to finance a private education," Continuum said.
