Aegon spends £3m on Cofunds re-platforming issues in June

Aegon has said it spent £3m on trying to fix issues with its Cofunds re-platforming move in June.

Aegon has suffered a number of issues with the Cofunds technology switch and last month said it had increased its operational team by 200 staff to try and deal with the problems.  As well as the £3m extra spend Aegon said it expected to incur additional expenses until it has fully completed the integration of the Cofunds platform, according to its half-year results released today (16 August).
