UK economic growth will slow down in the third quarter of the year, the National Institute of Economic and Social Research said, halving a previous estimate.
The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) has estimated the economy grew by 0.7% in the first quarter of the year and will "gather momentum" over the next quarter.
The global economy is set to grow slower this year and next, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
