Defaqto reveals the top ten recommended MPS investments of 2025

Passive strategies make up half of top ten as adviser preferences shift

Tatton Investment Management has emerged as the most prominent discretionary fund manager in Defaqto’s latest ranking of the most recommended managed portfolio services (MPS), with multiple propositions featuring in the top ten for 2025.

Data published by Defaqto shows Tatton Core Balanced was the most recommended platform MPS by value last year, moving up one place to take the top spot. It replaced Tatton Core Active, which had led the table in 2024 but fell two places to third.
