The top ten wealth management firms in the UK hold 89% of clients, up from 70% in 2022, and 59% of the assets, a three percentage point drop over the same time.
Over four-in-ten (41%) wealth management firms expect to acquire another firm, grow revenue or increase their client base by more than 25% over the next two years, according to the Financial Conduct Authority's 2025 wealth management survey. In contrast, only 18% of firms said they were considering winding down or selling all or part of their client base.
