The UK IFA market has recorded an increase in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in April, according to a report from investment and advisory firm Heligan Group.
The report found that mid-market consolidators were especially active in April, deploying increasingly sophisticated acquisition strategies. It highlighted an uptick in alternative deal structures, including minority equity stakes, succession-led buyouts, and bolt-on regional expansions.
