Trial of former Titan Wealth employee rescheduled as defence prepares abuse of process argument

Prosecution ready to proceed but court agrees to delay trial until late August

The trial of Marian Okunola, a former contractor-turned-employee at Titan Wealth, has been rescheduled for later this summer following a hearing at Ealing Magistrates’ Court today (9 May).

The case is now set to be heard at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 27 August. Okunola faces charges of harassment related to a series of allegedly abusive emails alleged to have been sent to two senior employees of Titan Wealth and its subsidiary Titan Settlement and Custody (formerly Global Prime Partners). The court heard that Okunola recently became eligible for legal aid, prompting her new solicitor – said to have gained access to the case on 2 May – to request more time to prepare a defence, including an abuse of process argument.
