SENDA, a provider of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) financial planning training, is calling on financial and legal professionals to share how they currently support families with disabilities, the challenges they encounter, and where improvements can be made.
SENDA has stressed that families with a disabled or additional-needs family member often face some of the most complex and long-term financial, legal and care planning challenges. "Yet many professionals still feel they lack the confidence, knowledge and processes needed to identify and support these families effectively," it said.
