Majority reviewed communication methods in last 12 months

The majority of financial advisers are actively reviewing their firm's communication strategies and made changes to how they work with clients in the past year, Professional Adviser has found.

More than half (64%) of advisers who responded to this week's PA Asks survey said that they had formally reviewed their communication methods within the last 12 months. Several advisers who reviewed communication methods in the last 12 months cited the Consumer Duty regulation as a driving factor for the review. Another adviser said a yearly review was part of their standard operating procedure. None of the respondents reported conducting a review between 12 and 24 months ago.
