One in ten unaware of their retirement income levels

A quarter of workers not confident about planning for retirement

One tenth of the UK's workforce does not know if they will be able to have a comfortable level of income in retirement, research from Aviva has found. The insurer's Working Lives Report 2023: Fit for Future, which surveyed 1,001 part-time or full-time employees in the private or charity sector and 203 private sector employers, revealed approximately 2.85 million workers had no idea if they would be able to retire comfortably.
