Another week and yet again, another major deal for financial advisers to digest. But as the profession is scaling up, is service improving?

This week, Atomos announced its acquisition of MWA Financial, bringing nearly £1bn of assets into the fold and creating one of the UK's largest financial planning firms. When I wrote this story, the wording immediately felt similar. It reminded me of when Shackleton acquired Hurst Point Group which created a combined £17.5bn advice giant.
