Chester firm with British Steel links declared failed after FSCS probe

Lifeboat fund confirmed it was investigating in April

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has declared Chester-based firm Arrow Financial Services in default.

Arrow Financial Services was dissolved on 22 June 2022 and placed the firm under investigation on 24 April 2023. The FSCS is investigating whether Arrow Financial Services was involved in any regulated activities and whether these activities may give rise to valid claims. The lifeboat fund said this firm is no longer trading and customers can make a claim against it. It is also one of the companies associated with claims regarding the British Steel Pension Scheme.
