Saltus snaps up Hertfordshire-based NSL Wealth

Second acquisition in six months

Saltus Group has acquired 23-year-old wealth management and IFA firm NSL Wealth as part of its long-term growth strategy, the firm revealed.

NSL Wealth was set up by Syd Symonds in 1999 and has grown to £160m assets under management. Symonds will retire but the firm's five staff will move across to Saltus with its office in Bushey, Hertfordshire also retained. NSL Wealth director Jordan Batchelar (pictured) will become a partner at Saltus while Symonds will take on a consultancy and advisory role during the transition. Over the next few years, Symonds will gradually pass all aspects of his day-to-day role to Batchelar, who joined the firm in 2009, to ensure continuity for clients, Saltus said.
