Celtic Financial Planning acquires Widnes-based advice firm

Celtic Financial Planning has boosted its presence in the North West by acquiring Widnes-based advice firm Halton Insurance Services for an undisclosed fee.

The acquisition has added £20m of funds under management and nearly 100 clients to Celtic FP, which is led by director Rob Lewis (pictured) and Nigel Dale, has clients across the UK from London to the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Lewis and his wife Ella, who is also part of the team, said they wanted to bring a "family feel" to the firm by acquiring Halton.
