CII sends apology to candidates for exam mishaps

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has written to advisers to apologise for the issues faced by candidates taking exams since March 2020.

Over the course of lockdown, advisers faced several issues while taking or organising their CII exams. These included technical difficulties and booking changes.  In the email, seen by Professional Adviser, CII chief customer officer Gill White wrote: "When the Covid-19 pandemic struck in March we knew we must find a way for our candidates to continue their studies and sit their exams, especially where this is a licence to practise.
