Claim-plagued Welsh firm starts liquidation proceedings after directors move elsewhere

Pontypridd-based Hyde Financial Management has commenced liquidation proceedings while the firm's directors have taken over a separate adviser firm.

Professional Adviser has seen a letter from liquidators Butcher Woods that confirmed the liquidation proceedings were going ahead, and stated if any creditors took issue with the decision that they should contact the liquidator before 21 April 2020. The Welsh firm was previously known as Imperial Wealth Management, but changed its name in January 2020. According to the latest records found on Companies House, the firm had £437k in retained earnings and £23k in the bank as of February 2019.
