Money Advice Service launches WhatsApp chat to target younger people

The Money Advice Service has launched a WhatsApp chat to offer guidance through the social media channel.

The chat offers guidance on topics such as debt, pensions and borrowing and was specifically launched to make its guidance more accessible to younger customers. Through Whatsapp, it said, customers can contact someone from the Money Advice Service for free and a lot more quickly. At the beginning of the year, the Money Advice Service became part of the Single Financial Guidance Body, which was rebranded as the Money and Pensions Service in March.
