Jelf launches standalone annuity broking service

Jelf Employee Benefits is extending its annuity offering with the launch of its standalone broking service.

The consultancy firm will launch a whole-of-market annuity broking as a separate service for employers, trustees and insurance companies, called Retirement Income Finder. It previously offered annuity advice as part of its pension and financial planning products. The retirement income finder service will encourage customers to choose the right type of annuity before seeking best value from the market, "rather than simply drawing attention to the highest amount of income available", Jelf said.
