Pair plead not guilty to murdering adviser

Two men have denied murdering a financial adviser who was shot in the chest at his home in April last year.

Appearing at Antrim Crown Court, 35-year-old Darren Kernohan, from Moss Drive in Antrim, and Martin Fleming (51), from Churchill Road in Larne, both pleaded not guilty to murdering 60-year-old Geoff Kerr on April 27 last year, the Belfast Telegraph reports.  Alongside the pair in the dock were mother and daughter 63-year-old Margaret Deery and Siobhan Clyde (34) who denied charges of perverting the course of justice. Crown lawyer Neil Connor revealed that a fifth accused, Laurence Desmond Kincaid, is also to be returned for trial on a charge of withholding information. Mr Justice H...
