Healthcare debate could decide next election

Two-thirds of the population believe healthcare could be a decisive factor in their voting decision according to a new report.

The results from Simplyhealth's Bothered Britain report shows that 64% of its respondents feel healthcare will be an important or major factor at the next election. This is further enhanced by 59% of those answering saying that workplace health should be more politically involved, and 20% suggesting it should be part of the public health agenda. With 88% of those who replied intending to vote at the next election, it seems clear that many people will be targeting the issue.
