Spink moving to Schroders in European reshuffle

Jupiter's European special situations manager Leon Howard Spink is going to Schroders, to run the European Alpha Fund when Adriaan de Mol van Oterloo's leaves later this year.

As well as assuming responsibility for the £126m onshore mandate, Spink will take on the EUR1,470.6m Luxembourg-domiciled Schroder ISF European Active Value fund. Van Oterloo is leaving the group in December to set up his own boutique while his colleague Zafar Ahmadullah is also leaving Schroders in October to establish a new company. Manager changes at Schroder mean former Gartmore manager Gary Clark will assume responsibility for two of the group’s offshore funds - the Schroder ISF European Equity and Schroder ISF European Equity Alpha - when he joins in September.
