PA charts the Personal Finance Society’s (PFS) performance and recent board changes

First operating loss since 2008 The PFS fell into an operating loss (of £327,00) in 2023, for the first time since 2008 and the third time in 20 years. A PFS spokesperson declined to "speculate" when asked whether the organisation is expected to pull its operating result back into the black in 2024. Profit after tax boosted by a tax credit Despite the operating loss, the PFS posted a profit after tax of £1.82m, improving on 2022's £1.54m and making last year the second most profitable in a decade.
