Rhiannon Gogh is a financial planner who works with neurodiverse clients and describes her job as “transformative”. She talks to Sahar Nazir about how the industry can help improve its awareness of neurodiversity

Gogh made her foray into special needs planning after attending a networking event in 2017 when she first heard about a disabled persons trust. Her 14-year-old son Tristan has autism and she felt "connected" to everything mentioned during the event. She described it as a "wake-up call". "I am a Chartered financial adviser, but I did not know about the ways my son could be supported in financial planning," she tells Professional Adviser.
