A confluence of updates has me reflecting on women’s role in financial advice present and future, not least because today is your last chance to nominate individuals for the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2026.

We've run these awards for several years, and as we make very clear: this is not about pitting women and men against each other by championing only one group, but about celebrating a group of people who are underrepresented in the profession. Recent Financial Conduct Authority data from its latest adviser survey underscores the importance of boosting women's visibility and championing those who are succeeding. As the FCA found, just 18% of financial advisers are women. That's a stat that probably doesn't surprise you, as the percentage of women in financial advice has been reported...
