General public’s divorce knowledge ‘patchy and often poor’

A recent study shows that the general public has a poor understanding of the laws which dictate how much a party is entitled to on divorce.  When asking more than 20,000 people to correctly identify ten true statements in relation to Financial Remedies and Children Law issues, the study by the University of Bristol found that on average only four-and-a-half statements were correctly identified.
