We are all recovering from Covid, even if we didn’t catch the virus. It is our job as advisers to help our clients with their recovery however long it takes, says Carl Lamb

As we approach the middle of 2021, we are beginning to see the real impact of the pandemic on clients' attitudes and concerns for their financial future. It's a mixed bag with extremes at both ends but all-in-all it is clear that the after-effects of Covid will be felt for many years to come. At one end of the spectrum, clients are showing a "devil may care" front to the world. They're feeling battle-weary but have the sense that the war is almost won.
