Attendees at adviser conference PA360 do not believe that artificial intelligence-driven efficiencies should result in charges changing for clients, while most are feeling optimistic about the role of AI in financial planning.
During a panel session last Thursday (23 April), attendees were asked to complete a series of poll questions, with the results then discussed by speakers on stage. Of the 253 who responded to a poll on their current feeling about AI in financial planning, 74% said they were feeling optimistic and expect growth. Some (11%) reported feeling sceptical, while others (9%) said they were overwhelmed and saw too many tools. Just 6% said they felt threatened by AI in financial planning.
