Melo is launching ‘Project Exit’, an independent marketplace for financial planning business sales designed to connect buyers and sellers and improve access to opportunities across the market.

According to research carried out by the firm, a significant number of financial planning firms are expected to change hands in the next five years and "while activity levels remain strong, access to opportunities remains fragmented". Project Exit will provide buyers and sellers with "unbiased" access to a range of opportunities through an online platform. Sellers input their information once and can then manage and coordinate all buyer interest in one place.
