Royal London introduces CRP framework to help advisers

Support when developing retirement income strategies for clients

Royal London has developed a centralised retirement proposition (CRP) framework to help advisers develop retirement income strategies for clients.

The provider said the suite – which includes a checklist, template and framework suitable for benchmarking – is intended to assist financial planners, "incorporate their current approach and develop a CRP that addresses the distinct needs of clients in the retirement income phase". It said the framework offers a structured, repeatable approach to retirement income that goes "beyond traditional investment decisions" and covers withdrawal strategies, tax efficiency, long-term care, and legacy planning.
