Chancellor Rachel Reeves may not be concerned about the impact of breaking her manifesto pledges at the Autumn Budget, but faith from many within the City is already waning.

Speaking at Investment Week's Funds to Watch event today (6 November), Pippa Crerar, political editor of The Guardian and co-host of ITV's Peston show, argued the chancellor has already "lost a lot of faith" from the business community ahead of her "huge" upcoming Autumn Budget.  Crerar explained that Reeves also may not be concerned about the fallout caused by breaking manifesto promises on taxation because "lots of people think she has already broken a manifesto promise" with the rise of employer National Insurance Contributions (NICs) last year.  Aside from the electorate, Crerar s...
