PA Asks: Most industry professionals 'somewhat confident' in their cybersecurity

In Professional Adviser’s most recent PA Asks survey, out of our 40 respondents, 55% of professionals in the advice industry are only “somewhat confident” in their cybersecurity defences.

Just 32.5% said they were very confident in their firm's defences, while 12.5% admitted feeling somewhat unconfident. No respondents selected "not confident at all". One respondent admitted a gap between systems and user behaviour. They said: "The business is great – the operator is a little shaky though… all these scams and working out just which of the emails from the Financial Conduct Authority is genuine – ridiculous situation." Another said: "I know we have better security than most… How many people reading this have security protocols that conform to ISO27001, NIST CST and cyber...
