FSCS declares Sheffield IFA failed

Two claims received so far against Peter Kettell

IFA Peter Kettell has been declared as failed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The Sheffield-based financial adviser was declared in default on Friday (17 October). The FSCS confirmed that it has received two claims so far against Peter Kettell, relating to insurance, pensions and investment advice. One claim has now been upheld which trigged the default declaration. In an update on its website, the lifeboat fund shared that the firm is no longer trading, so it has opened claim against it.
