Murphy Wealth CEO Adrian Murphy has said he likely would not have entered the financial advice profession if not for his father’s role in the business.

Speaking at The Lang Cat's HomeGame conference on Tuesday (30 September), Murphy told delegates that his exposure to the firm as "a young lad" helped shape his path. "As a young lad, I saw in the office how my dad enjoyed the relationship with the clients, he would always give them so much of his time," he said. "We talk so much about counselling and coaching now, but that was always part of our DNA. I doubt I would've made my way into this career if my dad didn't start Murphy Wealth."
