PFS's £1m Pathway to the Profession project attracts 250 enquiries

The Personal Finance Society’s (PFS) Pathway to the Profession initiative has attracted 250 expressions of interest since its summer launch.

The £1m initiative, launched in July, aims to support students taking initial steps towards gaining their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Of the 250 people who have enquired about the initiative more than 200 have no previous experience or qualifications in financial planning/advice. The PFS said as part of its pathway project it has made a £200,000 investment to support 500 students taking the R05 Financial Protection module. The students also become PFS members, it added.
