Sylvan Financial Management launches adviser school

Two graduates have progressed so far

Sylvan Financial Management (Sylvan), a Sense Network appointed representative, has launched an adviser school.

The firm's leadership team created the programme in response to "increasing demand for high-quality independent advice and a noticeable decline in its availability across the industry", according to a press release. "We've seen many independent firms sell to private equity or move toward in-house investment solutions," said Sylvan director Adrian Edwards. "We wanted to do something different, which I feel is to preserve and pass on the values that make independent advice so powerful."
