FSCS declares LLP Services in default following investment and pension claims

None of the claims related to British Steel Pension Scheme

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has declared London-based LLP Services as failed, allowing affected individuals to submit claims against the firm.

In an update on 28 March, the FSCS confirmed that LLP Services is no longer operating. It has received 12 claims relating to investment and pension advice, with one claim already upheld, leading to the firm's default status. Another claim is currently under review. None of the claims are linked to the British Steel Pension Scheme. According to the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) register, LLP Services has not held authorisation since November 2017.
