FCA to publish smaller firm guide this year

Regulator has heard that smaller firms would like further Consumer Duty support

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is expected to publish a guide for smaller firms this year on regulation including Consumer Duty.

In its feedback statement – ‘Immediate areas for action and further plans for reviewing FCA requirements following introduction of the Consumer Duty' - released today (25 March), the regulator outlined that is has heard from smaller firms that they would like further support in implementing outcomes-focused regulation and would like dedicated guides to understand its requirements, in one place.
