Financial planner salaries soar with women leading total pay growth

Financial planners in the UK have seen their total earnings rise for the sixth consecutive year, with more than half (52%) now earning over £110,000 annually, a leap from 37% in 2023, according to Paul Harper Search’s Financial Planning: Fascinating Facts and Figures report.

Women financial planners outpaced their male counterparts in total earnings, averaging £115,955 compared to £107,714 for men, marking the second consecutive year for growth. This represented a 52% increase in women's total pay since 2021, compared to a 14% rise for men over the same period. However, the report found that women still trail in basic salaries, earning £72,738 on average compared to £78,738 for men.
