Foresight Wealth buys Burnley-based IFA, adding £120m in assets

The purchase includes taking over Cassons’ existing Burnley offices

Cheshire-based financial planning firm Foresight Wealth Group has completed its second acquisition in two years with the buyout of Burnley-based IFA Cassons Financial Planning.

The deal adds over £120m in assets and 700 clients to Foresight's existing portfolio, which is dealt with through its financial planning arm, Foresight Wealth Strategists.  The purchase will include taking over Cassons' existing Burnley offices and staff to deal with the increased volume of planning with Foresight's clients, who are located across the UK. The acquisition builds on Foresight's integration with Platinum SRI in 2022.
