Majority of advisers have segmented client base

The majority (59%) of advisers have a segmented client base, the latest PA Asks survey shows.

In the latest round of results, 59% said they do have a segmented client base, 36% said no and 5% said they do not know. One industry respondent who does currently have a segmented client base said they segment it by age, needs and portfolio size. "Larger portfolios often means they have more investment wrappers," they added. Another industry respondent said they "try and offer advice fairly to all segments".
