More Brits now have a financial plan compared to 2019

The increase is in reaction to the financial and health shocks of Covid-19

More people have said they have a financial plan in place compared to records in 2019, Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has found.

The firm's report - Spotlight on UK financial wellbeing - showed that more than half (56%) of people said they now have a financial plan vs 45% in 2019 and recorded a 37% increase in budgeting. CBAM said these figures are "all positives" and a reaction to the financial and health shocks of Covid-19.  Head of workplace financial wellbeing Jeanette Makings said: "With money worries being a key enemy of mental wellbeing, and the ongoing cost of living pressures, an increased focus on financial wellbeing could improve not only financial wellbeing but mental wellbeing and overall wellbein...
