Industry confident they do not need to access more diverse talent

Advisers, business owners and paraplanners share their thoughts

Most industry respondents do not feel like their firm could use an increased focus on attracting talent from a more diverse range of backgrounds, according to a Professional Adviser poll.

More than half (63%) of the pundits who took part in a recent PA Asks were in majority agreement that their firm does not need to focus on increasing more diverse talent. However, 20% of respondents said this does need to be a focus for their firm, while 17% were unsure either way. One pundit said: "Clients prefer to receive advice from people who look and behave in a way that is familiar to them.
