Swansea firm Portfolio Financial Consultancy acquired by Ascot Lloyd

Acquisition of the firm announced on its website and LinkedIn last week

Welsh financial advice firm Portfolio Financial Consultancy has been acquired by IFA giant Ascot Lloyd.

In a statement on its website, the Swansea-based firm assured clients that its level of service would remain under its new owners. "As valued clients, you are of the upmost importance to us," the statement read. "The high service that you have received from Portfolio Financial Consultancy will continue under the Ascot Lloyd name." According to the Financial Conduct Authority register, Portfolio Financial Consultancy was first authorised in 2006 and has also traded under the name Portfolio Wealth Management.
