Adviser interest in capital accumulation continues growth

Quarterly report is a register of viewing patterns among advisers

There has been continued growth in advisers’ interest in capital accumulation funds during the second quarter of 2023, according to Square Mile's latest Market Intelligence report.

The report found that research into strategies with the potential of delivering this investment outcome accounted for more than half of all searches within the academy of funds (50.9%), up from 45% in the first quarter. While the share of income as a search term remained flat at 35.8%, Square Mile found that the interest in capital preservation and inflation protection continued to decline, falling from 12.5% to 9.4% and 7.5% to 3.8% respectively. Meanwhile, Square Mile's fund dashboard found an increased interest in the use of the ‘opinion' pillar as a primary access point at 47.7%, ...
