Former Quilter directors launch wealth manager through acquisition of London IFA

Former Quilter directors Dominic Rose and Nigel Speirs have launched a wealth manager after acquiring MKC Wealth, backed by growth capital specialists Cabot Square Capital.

MKC Wealth is a London-based boutique firm of IFAs and the pair plan to expand through the acquisition of other firms, as well as through organic growth. They also said they were close to completing another takeover. Rose (pictured) was previously strategy and acquisitions director for Quilter Private Client Advisers, will become CEO and Speirs, formerly managing director, will become executive chairman.
