Aviva names Rob Barker retirement business managing director

Replaces Lindsey Rix

Rob Barker has been named Aviva’s UK savings and retirement managing director after the departure of Lindsey Rix.

Barker was previously managing director of the insurer's health and protection business and takes over with immediate effect. Rix had held the position since November 2019 but has now left the business. Barker will report to UK and Ireland chief executive Doug Brown. Aviva chief executive Amanda Blanc said Barker's experience would help grow the savings and retirement business.
